Most works will be around $100.

The money collected will be going towards The Association of Peasants Fondwa (APF), a grassroots organization that has worked men nan men ("hand in hand") with the peasants of Fondwa, Haiti since 1988. Specifically, towards rebuilding the orphanage destroyed in the disaster, just outside of Port Au Prince. This is a charity that Tara DePorte (a participating artist) has done her undergrad thesis with and has kept in close touch.
At least we will know exactly where the proceeds are going! Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Tara DePorte will be holding her first solo show with Gitana Rosa Gallery opening Thursday, April 29, 2010 7-10 PM. More info to come!
